Do you go to college for a CNA degree?

Is CNA a degree that you go to college for or just some kind of trainging? I'd really like to change my career (I'm a transcriptionist now) but I don't really think I can commit to going to a full time school right now.

CNA training is sometimes done in your local community college but its not a degree that you'd go to college for. Often times the training programs take place in hospitals or nursing homes. Once you complete your nurses aide training course, you'll then need to pass the CNA certification exam given by your state board of nursing.
